Di Depan Jusuf Kalla, AHY Kembali Singgung soal Ruang yang Adil untuk Semua Capres
JAKARTA, tanjungselor.co – Ketua Umum Partai Demokrat Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) kembali menyingung soal keadilan bagi semua figur calon presiden (capres) yang bakal berkontestasi dalam Pemilihan Presiden (Pilpres) 2024. Kali ini, hal itu disampaikan AHY di sebelah Wakil Presiden ke-10 dan 12 RI Jusuf Kalla.
“Terutama jajaran eksekutif, juga benar-benar bisa membuka ruang itu. Jangan sampai seolah-olah ada yang diberikan dukungan, diberikan support langsung maupun tidak langsung,” kata AHY di kediaman Jusuf Kalla di kawasan Brawijaya, Kebayoran Baru, Jakarta, Senin (15/5/2023).
“Tapi ada yang dihalang-halangi atau tidak diharapkan, tidak bisa maju untuk tidak bisa membangun koalisi,” ujarnya lagi.
Menurut AHY, situasi itu menunjukkan bahwa demokrasi di Indonesia mengalami kemunduran. Padahal, AHY mengatakan, gelaran pemilu dilakukan untuk mengetahui siapa pemimpin masa depan yang diinginkan rakyat.
“(Pemilu seharusnya) menghasilkan para pemimpin yang merupakan keinginan rakyat, bukan keinginan sekelompok orang, sekelompok elit,” kata AHY.
Sebelumnya, pernyataan AHY itu telah disampaikan saat mendaftarkan bakal calon legislatif (bacaleg) di kantor Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU), Menteng, Jakarta, Minggu (14/5/2023).
Saat itu AHY meminta, Presiden Jokowi bersikap adil dalam konstelasi jelang Pemilihan Presiden (Pilpres) 2024.
Hal itu disampaikan menyusul pernyataan Jokowi di puncak acara Musra, Minggu (14/5/2023). Jokowi menyebut bakal memberikan bisikan kuat ke partai politik (parpol) terkait figur capres dan calon wakil presiden (cawapres).
Saat ini, Partai Demokrat memang merupakan parpol oposisi pemerintah. Posisi yang sama juga diambil oleh Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS). Kedua parpol juga telah membentuk Koalisi Perubahan untuk Persatuan (KPP) bersama Partai Nasdem.
KPP sendiri telah mengusung mantan Gubernur DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan sebagai capres. (*/kdc)
