TANJUNG SELOR, tanjungselor.co – Bukan kali ini, usulan menjadikan Pulau Bunyu Kabupaten Bulungan masuk dalam daftar pulau terluar di Indonesia, ternyata sudah sejak lama.

Menurut Ketua Asosiasi Masyarakat Perikanan dan Kelautan (AMPK) Pulau Bunyu Hariyono, usulan agar Bunyu masuk dalam daftar Pulau Terluar  sudah disampaikan sejak 2012 lalu.

“Tapi waktu itu tidak ada respons dari pemerintah kabupaten,” kata Hariyono saat berdiskusi ringan di Bunyu, Rabu (13/07/2023).

Diungkapkan, masyarakat Bunyu sangat berharap wilayah pulau ini masuk dalam daftar pulau terluar. Pertimbangannya, warga selama ini Bunyu kurang mendapatkan perhatian dari pemerintah, baik pemerintah daerah maupun pusat.

Dengan masuknya Bunyu dalam daftar pulau terluar, harapannya akan mendapatkan perhatian dari pusat.

“Bunyu ini termasuk pulau yang dekat perbatasan. Jadi menurut kami, layak menjadi pulau terluar,” kata pria yang cukup aktif dalam kegiatan sosial kemasyarakatan itu.

Sebagaimana diketahui, saat ini hanya ada dua pulau yang mendapat status tersebut di Bumi Benuanta – Sebutan Kaltara. Yakni Pulau Sebatik dan Karang Unarang  yang keduanya berada di Kabupaten Nunukan.

Penetapan status tersebut, diatur dalam Keputusan Presiden Nomor 6 Tahun 2017 tentang Penetapan Pulau-Pulau Kecil Terluar

Turut berdiskusi, Syarif Al Madali, mantan anggota DPRD 4 periode di Kaltim dan Kaltara mengatakan, upaya mengejar status terluar untuk Bunyu dilatarbelakangi keinginan masyarakat yang sampai saat ini terus menuntut adanya percepatan pembangunan di sana.

Terlebih dari kucuran dana yang bersumber dari kantong anggaran antar kementerian.

“Tentu bantuan dari pemerintah pusat yang kita kejar dengan penetapan status pulau terluar tersebut. Dengan begitu, kesejahteraan masyarakat di sini semakin meningkat. Kemudian dari sisi stabilitas keamanan juga bertambah kuat,” kata Syarif.

Senada disampaikan Suheriyatna, Tim Pemantau dan Evaluasi Proyek Strategis Nasional (TPE-PSN) Kementerian PUPR RI pada 2019-2022. Ia menyebut, pulau yang masuk dalam daftar pulau terluar akan mendapat perhatian pusat. Utamanya dalam pemenuhan infrastruktur.

Dicontohkan di Sebatik. Di mana, infrastrukturnya terbilang cepat, dibandingkan dengan Pulau Nunukan. Ini karena banyaknya kucuran dana APBN di pulau yang berada di garis perbatasan itu.

“Dengan masuk dalam daftar pulau terluar, kita akan mudah untuk mendapat dana dan program dari pusat. Karena ada dasarnya, untuk Negara hadir,” ujarnya. 

Untuk diketahui, Bunyu memiliki luas 198,32 kilometer persegi. Pulau Bunyu juga menjadi salah satu menyumbang devisa yang besar untuk negara dari komoditi tambang dan migas.

Selain potensi tersebut, kondisi geografis juga dinilai memenuhi kriteria karena tergolong pulau yang dekat dengan negara lain. Disamping itu, kondisi sosial kemasyarakatan yang rentan alami ketimpangan saat komoditi migasnya habis, patut mendapat perhatian serius dari pemerintah pusat. (*)

    This situation is helped by a strong Green party
    who now have 12 senators and four members in the House of
    Representatives.

    tobacco product application (PMTA) in the United
    States for its IQOS ILUMA product in October.

    The company at its investor day said that while the PMTA timeline remains “hard to predict”, it expects the launch of the ILUMA heated tobacco
    units towards the second half of its three-year forecast period of 2024 to 2026.

    IQOS heats up packets of ground tobacco but does not burn them, a process the company says potentially results
    in fewer health risks than traditional smoking

    A PMTA is required to sell new tobacco products in the United States,
    with manufacturers required to provide scientific data demonstrating a product is appropriate

    ‘The album is not extremely serious in that it’s very fun and meant

    accepted free membership of the club.

    Qantas and the Albanese government have both denied the airline enjoys any disproportionate level of
    influence over the country’s political classes.

    A Daily Mail Australia audit of the members’ interest registers
    – in both the House of Representatives and the Senate
    – revealed almost 93 per cent of the nation’s
    leaders have been ‘gifted’ membership to the lavish, all-inclusive
    lounge.

    The high profile ranks of government giftees include Prime Minister Anthony Albanese as well as every member of
    his 22-person Cabinet, his seven-person Outer Ministry and all 12 assistant ministers.

    LUXEMBOURG, Oct 7 (Reuters) – Germany’s economic model is not broken but Europe’s biggest economy
    has lost competitiveness over the past decade, German Finance
    Minister Christian Lindner said on Monday.

    “We can’t be satisfied with the economic developments in Germany,” he told
    journalists ahead of a Eurogroup meeting.

    The German economy is expected to contract by 0.2% in 2024, an economy ministry spokesperson said on Monday, cutting the forecast from a previous projection of 0.3% growth this year.

    If realised, this would be the second consecutive year of contraction for Germany’s economy, which
    was the weakest among its large euro zone peers last year with a 0.3% decline
    in gross domestic product.

    Lindner said the government was introducing supply-side measures to try to return the economy to growth.

    “After these reforms, Germany will have more competitiveness again,”
    Lindner said, adding that the growth initiative
    was just a first step for an economic turnaround, “but we have to build on it.”

    AMBITION NEEDED

    Lindner said “ambition” was needed to keep EU public finances in order, or to put them back in order where necessary.

    “I can only encourage everyone to implement structural reforms and to make unpopular decisions,”
    Lindner said. “What seems to be unpopular at the moment is the willingness to take responsibility for the next generation and for the stability of the European Union as a whole.”

    Lindner said he could not comment on the French budget plans because he had not had
    the chance to talk with his French colleagues yet, but
    he would do so on Monday evening.

    “We should all realise that the credibility of public finances vis-à-vis the capital markets is not to be trifled with,”
    Lindner said.

    “We must credibly reduce our deficits and our debt so that we can continue to finance ourselves well and in a stable manner.”
